Is Bigcommerce Free? How to start BigCommerce 15-Day free trial

Go to the BigCommerce homepage and press Get Started to start a trial store. Continue to Store Details after entering your email address. Fill in a store name, a password, your first and last names, a phone number, and your company’s size on the form. When you’re ready, click Create Your Store. After you have started your trial, you can change the store name at any time. You may wonder, ‘Is BigCommerce free?’ While starting a trial store does not require payment, continued use after the trial period requires choosing a paid plan

If you want to add a trial to an existing BigCommerce account, you will need to use the same email address and password as before.

You can add a new trial to your current account from your BigCommerce Account Dashboard if you already have a paid store or your trial period has ended.

Add a new trail with a new store

Go to Account Settings > Account Overview to get to the dashboard from the control panel.

By going to manage.bigcommerce.com, you can directly access the BigCommerce Account Dashboard.

The Account Dashboard is only accessible by the store owner. Click the Add New Store button once you’re in the account dashboard.

In case you don’t think BigCommerce is a suitable platform for you, and you want to cancel your trial store, no action is needed.

After the 15-day trial duration, the trial will automatically expire. Your trial store will never be charged, so don’t worry.

BigCommerce 30-day free trial period

BigCommerce is known for running exclusive deals for their Essentials customers from time to time.

And they’ve just released a new one that should appeal to everyone interested in opening an eCommerce store with BigCommerce.

When you pick your package, you’ll get a free month with the new promotion.

Step 1: Register a BigCommerce account, and you will receive a 15-day free trial.

Step 3: Take full advantage of your free month.

However, this offer does come with limitations and restrictions. You will be paid for the plan you selected if you do not cancel your account (which ideally you will not need to do).

So, if you want to be safe to avoid forgetting to cancel your subscription, you can choose the Standard-plan, which is the cheapest and hence will save you the least money if you fail to cancel.

If I follow BigCommerce’s trial terms and conditions right, the 1-month promo could result in a 45-day free trial.

That is because you will be able to choose your option on the last day of the regular 15-day free trial and then receive an extra 30-day. This promotion will most likely expire soon, and it might not be available if you go straight to BigCommerce’s website.

BigCommerce 60-day free trial period

New customers will receive a 60-day free BigCommerce Trial of their chosen plan as part of this promotion.

However, this offer is only valid for the BigCommerce Pro Plan; other Standard & Plus plans only offer a 30-day trial.

BigCommerce 90-day free trial period

The Standard Plan is the most basic plan, with just $39 per month. If you want to use it, the online store’s annual sales must be less than $50,000.

As a result, the Standard plan is only appropriate for small eCommerce websites. This plan will push you to update after you have established your business successfully and are likely to generate more sales.

Several advanced features are also missing, such as abandoned cart recovery and accessibility to build groups and segments for your shop.

2. Plus

The BigCommerce Plus plan is designed for medium-sized online stores with annual revenue of up to $150,000.

By selecting this plan, you can gain access to some advanced features. For example, you can use the “Abandoned cart saver” to contact users who haven’t completed the purchase process and persuade them to do so (e.g., by sending additional discounts).

4. Enterprise

This particular plan includes priority support, custom filtering options, a staging production environment, and a dedicated account manager to assist you in growing and optimizing your online store, among other things.

However, your required budget will be quite the amount. You must be prepared to spend at least $400-$500 per month.

To get an exact price, you’ll need to request a quote from BigCommerce.

Of course, you can expect all of the Plus Plan features, as well as a dedicated SSL and IP address, priority support, product filtering, advanced reporting tools, Google trusted stores, and much more.

One of BigCommerce’s key benefits is that there are no transaction fees. If you want to pay yearly rather than monthly, you can receive a 10% discount.

Pricing terms

BigCommerce accepts a variety of payment methods. Here are the details and next steps to apply for the PayPal driven by Braintree rate.

With PayPal driven by Braintree, all BigCommerce plans provide pre-negotiated special credit and debit card processing rates.

As you expand with BigCommerce and update your plan, your prices will go lower, which is better for your bottom line.

For all BigCommerce plans, the debit and credit card processing fee starts at 2.9 percent + $0.30 per transaction.

You may be eligible for the plan’s published processing rate, depending on your plan.

You must be a company headquartered in the United States to be qualified. After that,

  • (1) If you’re a new BigCommerce Merchant, you’ll need to choose a qualifying BigCommerce Plan if you’re using a trial PayPal driven by Braintree account (Plus, Pro, or Enterprise).

Accept the terms of the selected BigCommerce plan and create a billing agreement in your BigCommerce account Client Region.

After that, you’ll be charged the first month’s fee for your BigCommerce contract, and you’ll be able to qualify for the agreed PayPal driven by Braintree payment processing rates.

You do not need to complete this phase if you are already a BigCommerce Merchant on a Plus, Pro, or Enterprise plan.

  • (2) To upgrade from a trial to a full account, complete and send the PayPal driven by Braintree application from the BigCommerce account Control Panel Payment Settings section.

During the course of reviewing your application, the PayPal powered by Braintree team may ask for additional details.

  • (3) You will be emailed a Pricing Contract to digitally sign 2 to 3 business days after receiving approval* for a PayPal powered by Braintree account.

To sign and return the contract, follow the instructions in the email.

  • (4) After that, your account will be updated to represent the new rate, and you will receive an email notification with the updated rate, which may take up to 10 business days.

Braintree checks customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure that its offerings and pricing are appropriate for your account operation.
