Fixing Refunds on Loyalty Program Transactions
Regarding loyalty programs, one of the most important aspects is ensuring that points are accurately deducted from customers’ balances when orders are refunded. However, sometimes there can be errors that result in customers retaining their full point balance even when their orders have been refunded. This issue can occur when orders are refunded via transactions but not refunded for the items themselves.
Our team has fixed this issue to help you track all transactions and ensure that refunds are applied correctly.
Joy Loyalty and Air Reviews Integration
Air Reviews is a leading Shopify app partner that assists online merchants in obtaining and displaying attractive, uncomplicated product reviews to create trust and increase sales for their businesses. Joy Loyalty has recently collaborated with Air Reviews, allowing merchants to reward customers who leave reviews for their store.

Email Notification Preview Improvements
We’ve recently made some improvements to the design and user experience of our email notification previews in Joy Loyalty. With this improvement, we hope to help you provide a more seamless and engaging customer experience, ultimately leading to increased customer retention and loyalty.
Banner For Insufficient Point Redemption Improvements
Another latest improvement we’d like to introduce to you is the upgraded banner for insufficient point redemption. This means that when customers try to redeem their points for rewards but don’t have enough points, they will now see a clear and visually appealing banner indicating that they need more points to make the redemption.
Hiding Floating Button Improvements
We have also improved the option to hide the floating button on Joy Loyalty. Instead of having a floating button on your website, you can now access your loyalty program by using the header links.
- You can change the display position of the floating button in the storefront: bottom left or bottom right.
- Icon: You can select the given icons or upload your own image if necessary.
- Click Hide on Mobile to hide the floating button on mobile
- Click Hide float button to hide it on both desktop and mobile
- You can show customer points on the header. To quickly access the configuration setting, please click on Add points to your store
This design improvement provides a cleaner look for your website and enhances the user experience for your customers. Plus, it gives you more flexibility to customize your loyalty program to fit your brand’s style and design.
[Built for Shopify] Assets API No Longer Required
Joy Loyalty Program now follows Shopify’s best practices and standards, meaning the app will no longer require changes to your theme code to run. All snippets will now use OS 2.0 features to run, making the integration with your Shopify store seamless and hassle-free.
Additionally, upon uninstallation, customers will receive a clean uninstallation without requiring manual theme code removal.
Note: This will apply to new customers from now on.
