How to Change Locations of Stock Products on Shopify

How to Change Locations of multiple Stock Products using Bulk Editor

Step 1: Go to Inventory

From your Shopify admin → Choose Products → Select Inventory

In the Inventory area, you can select the location you wish to adjust

Step 3: Select products

After selecting the location, you can view a list of the available products on that location. Click on the checkbox next to the products you wish to edit the location later on. Then, click the Bulk edit button to proceed

Step 4: Add fields

Upon directed to the Bulk editor page, if you want to add fields for the locations that will be used to stock the products, click on the Columns button (on the top right corner) and tick on the Quantities by location option (of the location(s) you wish to add on those products).

Now, you can edit the quantity of the products available in each of these locations.

Find and click on the Save button so that your changes in the locations that used to stock the products will be saved automatically for later uses.

How to Change the List of Locations that Stock a Product individually

Step 1: Proceed to the Product area

Within your Shopify admin dashboard → Choose Products → Click on the exact product you wish to change the list of locations.

Step 2: Track quantity of your chosen product

In your chosen product’s details page, scroll down to the Inventory section. You have to make sure that the “Track quantity” checkbox under that section is checked.

After ticking the Track quality checkbox, scroll down a bit to the Quantity section and choose “Edit locations” button to edit the product’s list of locations.

Step 4: Check and uncheck locations

After clicking on the Edit locations option, you will see a Edit locations box containing all of the available locations that you can choose for the products.

Simply tick on the location that you want it to stock the product/ or uncheck ones that you do not want to be on the product’s stock locations list anymore.

Click on the Save button on the bottom right of the box to save the changes that you made.
